Our Story
Bloom was created to give language to what people already sense.
Bloom is informed by over 22 years of experience supporting leaders, teams, and systems under pressure — blending analytical thinking with human-centered practice.
The work draws from emotional intelligence, metacognition, and real-world complexity.
"Growth doesn’t arrive with thunder. It happens like dawn--slow, deliberate, until, all of a sudden, you're standing in the sun."

"I don’t fix people.
I don’t tell teams what to think.
I don’t offer scripts.
I help people learn to see what’s actually happening — so response becomes intentional, not reactive.
That’s the work."

I’m Mel — and my work lives at the intersection of human behavior, communication, and pattern recognition.
For over two decades, I’ve worked in complex, high-stakes military environments where communication breakdowns, pressure, and misalignment were not theoretical — they were consequential.
What I noticed was consistent:
Patterns repeat.
Reactions escalate.
And most people are responding without realizing why.
Bloom emerged from that observation — a practice grounded in analysis, emotional intelligence, and lived experience.
